Highlight cells above a value
Color every amount above a limit automatically, so the cells that need attention stand out and keep standing out when the numbers change.
In this lesson
- A rule recolors cells by itself whenever a value changes. Hand-painted colors never do.
- "Greater than 500" does not color 500 itself.
- Change the limit by editing the rule: Conditional Formatting, then Manage Rules.
