Highlight overdue and due-this-week dates
Color overdue dates red and dates due within the next week yellow, with formula rules that compare each date to today.
In this lesson
- Overdue:
=D2<$G$1with today in G1, or=D2<TODAY(). - Lock the today cell with $; leave the first date unlocked so each row checks its own date.
=TODAY()in a cell gives the current date every time the file opens, so the colors follow the calendar.
