Show values as % of total
Turn a pivot table's numbers into shares of the grand, column or row total, and pick the one that answers your question.
In this lesson
- Click the value's chip in Values, then Value Field Settings…, then the Show Values As tab.
- % of Column Total: each column adds up to 100%.
- Ask what should add up to 100%, then check whether that's a column or a row in your layout.
